Student and Faculty Fellowship Grants 2024 - 2025
Summer Student Fellowship Grant - CLOSED
Harpur College undergraduate students are invited to apply for research support for Summer 2024 research based on social justice for women and girls, with an emphasis on roles in voting participation, local politics, and political mobilization. In this call, we require that researchers propose innovative projects with a strong emphasis on understanding and showcasing the transformative impact of women's participation in the arena of state and community level politics. We recognize the pivotal role women play in shaping democratic societies, and we seek to support initiatives that promote attention to gender equity and women's empowerment in the political sphere. There is funding for one Summer 2024 Fellowship and the student will receive up to $1,500 to support their research. Summer Fellow Criteria:
- Must be a Harpur undergraduate student in good academic standing
- GPA must be at least 3.0
- Can't already be funded for summer research
- Can't receive Kaschak grant more than twice
- Must submit a written report on your research by October 31, 2024

Student Fellowship Grants - CLOSED
Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply for research support for projects based on social justice for women and girls, with an emphasis on voting participation, local politics, and political mobilization. In this call, we require that researchers propose innovative projects with a strong emphasis on understanding and showcasing the transformative impact of women's participation in the arena of state and community level politics. Student Fellows receive an award of $2,000 to support their research during the 2024-2025 academic year. Co-investigators submitting a single successful project will share the award. Faculty Fellowship Grant - CLOSED
Faculty are invited to apply for research support for a project based on social justice for women and girls, with an emphasis on voting participation, local politics, and political mobilization. In this call, we require that researchers propose innovative projects with a strong emphasis on understanding and showcasing the transformative impact of women's participation in the arena of state and community level politics. The Faculty Fellow will receive a Spring 2025 course release and an award of $2,500 to support their research during the 2024-2025 academic year. Co-investigators submitting a single successful project will share the $2,500. One project can be funded in 2024-2025.
