We hope you’re looking forward to Binghamton University’s International Student Orientation. If you haven’t already, be sure to register!
In addition to registering for the International Student Orientation, you should also complete the following tasks before arriving to the U.S.:
-
- Obtain your Visa
- Upload your health documents - If you do not complete the required health forms, you may experience difficulty with registering for your fall 2024 courses
- Arrange your housing – Please note that linens (sheets, towels, etc.) will not be provided by Residence Life
- Upload a photo for your university identification card
- Review meal plan options
- Arrange travel accommodations to Binghamton University
- Watch the pre-arrival orientation videos on Brightspace - Scroll down to the “My Courses” section and click on the “Binghamton University International Orientation” link - These videos should be watched before the in-person International Student Orientation
- Register for the New International Student Webinars that begin on Thursday, June 13
Once you have entered the U.S., you will need to complete the Arrival Form. If you do not complete this form, the ISSS will not be able to update your SEVIS record and your immigration status may be at risk.
All pre-arrival emails will be posted on our webpage for future reference. Emails will only be posted once they have been sent to incoming students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the ISSS office at intlori@binghamton.edu if you need assistance.
Best,
The Office of International Student and Scholar Services
