Real Property Management

Binghamton University’s Real Property Management Office, reporting to the Division of Operations, works in conjunction with its on-campus partners to provide facilities services, operations and maintenance, project management, and support to tenants for off-campus properties owned and/or leased by the Binghamton University Foundation (BUF), Binghamton Auxiliary Services Corporation (BASC), Research Foundation (RF), or the state.

The Office is a single point of contact for our campus partners and off-campus tenants for inquiries and problem resolution.

Services

Our team will coordinate the following services for off-campus facilities:

  • Basic Upkeep - Cleaning services, pest control, maintenance and repairs, landscape services, snow removal, recycling and waste management, project management, and energy conservation and sustainability.
  • Lease and Tenant Issues - Address tenant issues, ensuring that facilities comply with all lease provisions and operate efficiently, effectively, and within budget constraints.
  • Operations - Monitor operations and determine modifications concerning contracts, maintenance agreements and energy management to facilitate cost savings
  • Coordination - Coordinate with campus entities that include but not limited to BUF, FASC, RF, Physical Facilities, NYS University Police, Parking and Transportation, Information Technology, Procurement Services
