Interested in being part of the Emerging Leaders Program? First year and transfer students entering Binghamton University for the fall from all schools, programs, and residential areas/off campus are encouraged to apply! It is not required that new participants have held a prior leadership position. We are looking for students who are interested in leadership, passionate about community engagement, and committed to being an active ELP participant.
The application will be open on B-Engaged from May 6, 2024 through July 31, 2024. Applicants will need a Binghamton University email account to login and submit the application. Notification of acceptance will be sent on August 5, 2024 to applicants’ Binghamton University emails.

ELP helped me grow immensely as a leader and connect with so many amazing people and resources. I also got an amazing opportunity to positively impact others in the community.
Especially as a first-year student, this program is valuable in terms of making connections and allowing this campus to feel like home. I have met so many students and gained valuable advice from student leaders, mentors, and even professionals in my field of study. This was a great experience to develop my skills.
