Binghamton University has a very liberal transfer credit policy where we attempt to give you some sort of credit for your previous college courses. Every school (Harpur, Watson, School of Management, Decker, & CCPA) evaluates transfer credit for those students within a major within their respective school/college. Specific questions should be directed to the appropriate school's advising office.
Transfer equivalency Database --Please note that is a list of the most common schools and courses, not a complete and exhaustive list. Transfer credit is accepted from institutions granted regional accreditation by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Credit for courses from institutions with accreditation other than regional accreditation is evaluated for transfer purposes on a case-by-case basis.
