University Police maintains the majority of the found property that has been turned in around the university. If you believe your property has been turned into University Police, please feel free to contact us. Property can be returned to you at the University Police public window located on the ground floor of the Couper Administration Building.
*COVID-19 Lost and Found Policy Change*
Please call (7x2393) or email (police@binghamton.edu) before coming to the UPD window
to determine if your property has been turned in and is available for return. Messages
and emails will be returned as quickly as possible. If you receive a message from
Lost & Found advising you that we have your property, you do not need to contact Lost
& Found ahead of time but you must come to the public window.
We ask that persons who need to come to the UPD window respect the concept of social
distancing while interacting with Lost & Found staff. If you are experiencing flu-like
symptoms we would ask that you seek an alternative method of retrieving your property
by contacting Lost & Found by phone or email first.
Lastly, effective immediately, University Police Lost & Found will not be accepting
property valued at less than $20.00. Items such as water bottles, umbrellas, lanyards
and other low value items should not be dropped off or forwarded to University Police
Lost & Found.
