The success of a program such as CSTEP can only be measured by the success of its graduates. Below is a continually updated listing of students who participated in the BU CSTEP program, and a few of the activities they are currently involved in.

Kamila Barnes (nursing) BS, Class of 2007: Currently working as an RN at New York Hospital Queens.  Will be pursuing the doctorate program, DNP, starting Fall 2009 at the University of Rochester School of Nursing with a concentration in Family Nursing.  Currently a member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. - Nursing Professional Organization. 

Dr. Iyabode Agboola (pre-health): earned a degree from New York University. Published an article entitled "A Day in the Life of a Psychiatrist in-the-Making" in Academic Psychiatry. 

Dr. Marcus Allen (political science): completed Ph.D. dissertation in Political Science, Binghamton University. 

Shaquana Cooper (pre-law): attending West Virginia University Law School.

Megan Gordon-Dearing (pre-law): first-year law student, University of Connecticut. 

Dr. Sheldon Fields (nursing): BA and MS; currently a family nurse practitioner; Assistant Professor, School of Nursing, University of Rochester. 

Dr. Francine Hippolyte (pre-health): Graduated from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

Dr. Ijeoma Isiadinso (pre-health): MD and MPH from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann Medical College.

Julius Johnson, III, (nursing): RN at New York University Medical Center (Medical / ICU, Surgical / ICU, Cardiovascular Care Units and Coronary Care Units); JUMP Nation City Alumni Advisor.

Tamara Jordan, JD (pre-law): selected for Washington Internship Experience; earned a JD from Northeastern University.

Dr. Steven Lee Kong (pre-health): recipient of National Institutes of Health Pre-doctoral Intramural Research Training Award; graduated with an MD from Columbia University and is currently conducting surgical research; recipient of Dr. Cecil G. Marquez, B.A.L.S.O. Student Award (outstanding contribution to the Black and Latin Student Organization and the minority community).

Samantha R. Lewis, NP (nursing): MS in community health nursing; Nurse Practitioner specializing in family practice.

Lyndonna Marrast (pre-health): third-year medical school student at School of Medicine at Stony Brook.

Thelma Ofori (pre-law): attending Tulane University Law School.

Oladapo Olayemi (pre-law): attending George Washington University Law School.

Nina Padmore, BS RN (nursing): currently works for the Visiting Nurse Service; graduate student at Hunter College in the Masters of Public Health and Community Health Nursing Program. 

Lexie Rojas (pre-law): attending Syracuse University Law School. 

Dr. Karen Marie Winkfield (pre-med): MD and Ph.D., Duke University; recipient of the UNCF/Merck Graduate Science Research Dissertation Fellowship and the Academic Medicine Fellowship presented by National Medical Fellowships in conjunction with Bristol-Myers Sqibb. Upon graduation from Duke, completed a one-year internship in internal medicine, to be followed by a four-year residency at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. Karen is a published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has received multiple accololades for her clinical accumen. 

Peta-Gaye Wallace (pre-law): completed two master's degrees in English Education and Administration and Supervision at Columbia University. Peta-Gaye taught for six years, staff developed for one year, and is currently working as an Assistant Principal.
