EOP Summer Program Peer Counselor Position
DESCRIPTION
The Peer Counselor will provide counseling, live-in support and assist in the transition
of students through exposure to areas in social development, cross-cultural awareness,
and academic preparation in a challenging and dynamic summer program.
A mandatory two-credit course is offered in the spring semester to provide training for the summer program. Hiring is conditional on successful completion, evaluation and participation in this class.
Application: You must attend an information session in order to receive an application via email. Information sessions are only held in the fall semesters. Contact the EOP office for more information.
NOTE
Summer employment dates are the Last week of June to the first week of August.

DESCRIPTION
The Writing Instructor and TA will help students develop reading and writing skills
to assist with their general critical thinking skills that they can apply to their
freshmen coursework. Assistance is also given to help students develop strong academic
work habits. The ultimate goal is to transition these individuals to the challenges
and rigors of college life.
EOP SUMMER PROGRAM MATH INSTRUCTOR & TA POSITIONS
DESCRIPTION
The Math Instructor and TA will help students develop mathematical skills to assist
with their general critical thinking and problem-solving skills that they can apply
to their freshmen coursework. Assistance is also given to help students develop strong
academic work habits. The ultimate goal is to transition these individuals to the
challenges and rigors of college life.
