Please review the guides and demonstrations linked at the top of this page for detailed
instructions on how to access Employee Self-Service and complete timecards within
E-Time.
For Non-Exempt Employees (Salaried and Hourly)
Times must be logged in HH:MM format, include AM or PM indicators, and be rounded
to the nearest quarter hour increment (i.e., 08:00am or 12:30pm).
For any shifts where an employee is working more than six hours, an unpaid meal break
of at least 30-minutes must be taken and this break in work must be reflected on their
timecard.
For Exempt Employees
Exempt employee timecards are completed as leave records. Employees are only required
to record their time away from work during their normal work schedule on their timecards.
One full day away from work is logged as 1, while partial days away from work are
logged in quarter day increments (i.e., .25, .50, .75).
If no time away from work was taken during a given month, the blank timecard must
still be submitted for our timekeeping records.
