The initial teacher preparation programs include Childhood and Early Childhood (CEC) - Literacy, Childhood and Early Childhood (CEC) - Special Education, and Master of Arts in Teaching - Adolescence Education programs.
The advanced teacher preparation programs include Master of Education (MSEd) programs in Literacy Education, Special Education, and TESOL.
We currently offer two masters degrees for students interested in education but not seeking certification. The Educational Studies program with a Concentration in Community Schools is designed for those interested in the general study of education and does not lead to certification. The MA TESOL program enables graduates to teach in English as a Second Language (ESL) programs on college campuses or in other English programs across the globe.
