Campus Recreation's programs are designed to encourage positive lifestyle choices and promote lifelong learning through both wellness and physical activities.
The Recreation Center at the East Gym is more than just a place to be active. Our programming provides students with opportunities to foster social interaction, personal growth and leadership skills — all while having fun!
Aquatics
Exercise without the sweat! Build endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness by swimming in our five-lane pool. We offer lap swimming, recreational swimming, family swim, aquatic fitness classes, adult and children's swim lessons and personalized aquatic training.
Club Sports
Learn new skills, improve existing ones, compete and find community by participating in a Club Sport. There are over 2,000 students who participate in more than 40 recreational, semi-competitive and competitive clubs.
Fitness & Wellness
We're here to help you achieve your fitness goals. Experience all the health benefits of physical activity through a variety of programs, services and facilities. We offer fitness memberships to FitSpace, outdoor exercise areas like the FitCourt, group fitness classes, personal training and more.
Intramural Sports
Play competitively or try a new sport by playing in an Intramural league or tournament. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. Winning teams take home the coveted championship t-shirt.
Outdoor Pursuits
Get outside with Outdoor Pursuits. Explore and enjoy nature with our outdoor adventure activities, credit classes, equipment rentals and team-building experiences.
Open Recreation
It's your workout, your way. The Open Recreation program provides free-use equipment and exercise areas for students with valid University ID cards. Choose from drop-in activities like basketball, volleyball, swimming, racquetball, pickleball, tennis, disc golf and more.
