Finding a doctor, clinic or hospital for medical treatment

The Decker Student Health Services Center is the first stop to evaluate and treat medical concerns for all students. Most services are covered through your health center fee and do not need to be submitted to insurance for reimbursement. If the Decker Student Health Services Center is unable to treat your medical condition, you will be referred to the proper healthcare provider in the Binghamton area. To find out more about the Decker Student Health Services Center, go online.

If the Decker Student Health Services Center is closed and you need immediate medical care, or if you are traveling outside of the Binghamton area and need medical care, choose a doctor or a hospital that is part of United HealthCare's network.

To find a network provider go to www.uhcsr.com.

NOTE: All of the Binghamton hospitals (UHS Binghamton General Hospital, UHS Wilson Medical Center and Lourdes Hospital) participate in the United HealthCare network, as do most of their providers. These hospitals offer emergency medical care and inpatient care for serious illnesses.

Medical walk-in clinic services offer non-urgent medical care and are available throughout the community, and can be utilized when the Decker Student Health Services Center is closed. Appointments are not necessary. See UHS Find a Location and Ascension Find a Location to view a complete list of walk-in clinics.
