2/03/2021 - The new Mobile Operating Systems (iOS/Android) may require signed security certificates to connect to the University’s WiFi/eduroam.  If you use an old version of JoinNow, or manually configure your phone or tablet to connect to wireless, be advised that you will most likely need to install and run the latest version of JoinNow so the phone recognizes the security certificates.

10/2020 - I.T.S. is requiring all students, faculty and staff claim their account and change their passwords beginning after 9 AM, Thursday, Nov. 19. You should never reuse an old password. To easily update your University passwords, go to this link: https://password.binghamton.edu.

When you change your password through this page, the results of the password change will be indicated on the page. If any password change is unsuccessful, make note of any results. If there are any unexpected results, contact the ITS Help Desk.

After you successfully change your password, it will take up to 20 minutes to synchronize throughout the domains. Hence, it may take some time before you can login to your computer and/or the domain.

Remember to update your password on all your devices, for example; eduroam (see directions below), and the email on your phone. If you encounter a problem logging into your account after the password change or need assistance, contact the ITS Help Desk.

The unencrypted wireless network mydevicesbing is available for gaming devices and other mobile devices that do not support WPA2 Enterprise 802.1x authentication or cannot otherwise access eduroam.
