All students at Binghamton University are required to comply with New York State Public Health Laws 2165 and 2167 regarding proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, and meningococcal meningitis. Submission of these New York state-mandated requirements is necessary to be eligible to remain registered for classes. Students not registered for classes will not be allowed to remain in campus housing, nor will financial aid be processed.
All new students must also answer the mandatory tuberculosis screening questions on the online Medical History form located at the Patient Portal for University Health and Counseling Services by the fifth Friday after classes begin. Completion of this requirement is necessary to register for subsequent semesters.
