Instron 3344
The Instron 3344 is a single column load frame with integral controller and contains
sensor condition cards for the system transducers and the computer. The test samples
are pressure gripped between two mechanical grips, one is attached to the cross head
where the load cell is mounted and other to the fixed end. This instrument supports
compatible materials, and provides different test scenarios of bending, cycling either
tension, compression or both. Features include 2 kN (450 lbf) capacity, 1067 mm (42
in) vertical test space, 100:1 force range (i.e. use the load cell to 1.0% of capacity),
and software control.
