Binghamton University has an LGBTQ+ Living Community on the 2nd floor of Delaware Hall in Newing College! The community is open to new and returning LGBTQ+ students and allies.

October is National LGBTQ+ History Month! OUTober is a campus tradition where we recognize a combination of LGBTQ+ History Month and Pride Month! Celebrate queer joy and LGBTQ+ history with the campus community!
Transgender Awareness Month
Transgender Awareness Month is a time for transgender people and their allies to take action and bring attention to the community by educating the public and advancing advocacy around the issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that transgender people face.

Trans Day of Visibility
Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated annually on March 31st! This day is dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society.
Lavender Celebration
The Binghamton University Lavender Celebration is a pre-commencement recognition ceremony for graduating LGBTQ+ students and allies with speakers, awards and food!
