BFSS LLC is a single member limited liability company formed in 2014, whose sole member and manager is the Binghamton University Foundation.
The LLC was formed to support the Foundation’s mission, which is to further the educational purposes of the Foundation and Binghamton University by facilitating the implementation of projects and events authorized and approved by the University, and to do any other act or thing incidental to, in connection with or in advancement of the purposes of the Foundation.
The majority of the activity in this entity centers on strategic purchases of real estate to advance the goals of the University. BFSS LLC will also enter into contracts for campus partners if it cannot be executed by the campus as a state contract.
