About Us
The Security Infrastructure and Support Office, housed within the Operations and Infrastructure area of Information Technology Services, holds a pivotal role in safeguarding the university community. We specialize in the administration and management of advanced security systems, including card-based door access and network video surveillance. These systems are strategically deployed throughout the campus, offering comprehensive coverage and protection.
Our Responsibilities
System Administration: We oversee the day-to-day administration of card access and network surveillance systems, ensuring their smooth operation and effectiveness.
Consultation and Project Management: Collaborating closely with installation, renovation, and construction projects on campus, our team provides expert consultation and project management to integrate security seamlessly into campus development.
Maintenance and Operation: Continuous upkeep is paramount to ensure the reliability of security systems. We maintain and optimize the software operating these systems, keeping them up-to-date and fully functional.
